Welcome! The Canberra Electric Bike Library is open to all residents of Canberra aged 16 years and above.
The Library's electric bikes and accessories are available to borrow for 14 days without charge except for a small insurance fee. The electric bikes can be borrowed during our office hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from the Library's Downer location (Downer Community Hall - Frencham Place, Downer), and on Fridays from the Library's Kambah location (Diversity Hub - 8 Laidlaw Place, Kambah).
The inventory tab showcases the Library's different electric bikes and accessories available to borrow. To make a reservation of one of our electric bikes and/or accessories, head to the top right corner of the page to create an account with the Canberra Electric Bike Library.
If you need any assistance with finding an electric bike to borrow that suits your needs or with making your reservation here on myTurn, we can be contacted over the phone (61622320) during our office hours or via email (ebikelibrary@seechange.org.au).
Loans of our e-bikes are free, but you will need to purchase one of the following types of insurance if you are not already covered:
A Pedal Power membership ($12/month for individuals, $18/month for pairs, $20/month for households)
A $35 temporary membership for individuals valid for one month from the date of purchase
A $50 temporary membership for a household (2 adults and up to 4 children) valid for one month from the date of purchase
These temporary membership fees can be credited towards a Pedal Power annual membership if you choose to opt in after loaning from the Canberra Electric Bike Library.
View Pedal Power's Summary of Insurance Cover and check the Pedal Power website for more details.
